Andriska is a bakery, café and breakfast bar that offers everything you need for the perfect start to the day in a vibrant and lovely ambience. In Kővágóörs, at the gates of the Káli Basin, we created the modern interpretation of half-century-old baker traditions. We continue the story of the bakery that once operated in this red-stone building, enriching it with new and exciting chapters. We invite you to embrace old memories and taste new experiences.
Bakery products and pastries
The broad range of baked goods reflects our respect for traditions and passion about diverse flavours. We get up at daybreak to bake you fresh sourdough and wild sourdough bread, twisted butter croissants, and crispy chocolate swirl buns for your coffee – and many more. If you appreciate variety, you will love our pastries with inventive twists and tweaks.
Coffee and refreshments
We believe that the atmosphere and the ceremony are as important as your favourite coffee. With fresh coffee from selected and roasted beans, fruit lemonades, homemade syrups, teas, and ice-cold sparkling wines, Andriska is happy to offer a table or friendly corner for those important meetups, inspirational conversations, and memorable stories.
Breakfast sandwiches, sweet delicacies
It is the early risers, who grab the very first pastries right from the oven. But we certainly do think of those who prefer to start the day a bit or even much later. Pick your favourite from our extra sandwiches – and did we mention that our homemade cakes and pies are out of this world?
We prepare our bakery products by hand and in-house, using quality ingredients only. Andriska cherishes traditional Hungarian classics and flavours, and we also like to impress with seasonal specialities and genuinely new delicacies. Besides bread and baked goods, you can enjoy delicious breakfast, tasty sandwiches, homemade cakes and pies, splendid coffee, sparkling wine, and passionate hospitality throughout the year.
Who are we? Above all, dreamers.
I was dreaming of creating experiences and good memories with baking, cooking and hospitality. And my family helped these dreams come true: I met my wife, Zsófi, in the Káli Basin, we got married here, and we were dreaming together of living here. And finally, we gave up our lives and jobs in Budapest and moved to Kővágóörs. This is how the story of Andriska started…
In our new life now, we love to watch how good food, drink, and music brings people together and creates friendships. And this is a fantastic impulse for us.
A place with heart and soul
When we found this old bakery, it had been out of use for 15 years. To restore the beauty of the red-stone building with much history, during the renovation, we took every care to preserve the architectural style and characteristics of both the building and the area. But we also used bold and dynamic elements that create a welcoming atmosphere and allow for the integration of state-of-the art equipment.
With all these efforts we looked to build a hearty place where the aroma of fresh bread, pastries and coffee mixes with a passion for hospitality. In simple words: a home to friendships and memorable moments.
